After her 2nd child started going to school, Jasbir felt she had a lot of time to do something new.

Jasbir had quit her job so that she could be the doting mother to her children.

The internet revolution had just begun in India. Maninder learnt a bit of HTML and Jasbir learnt doing graphics.

"We made our first business website which was pretty basic. For Internet, we had to use a dial up connection using a 7.8kbps modem and speeds were pathetic. We used to take turns using the internet at night when traffic was low and data transfer speeds were bearable."

"God has always been merciful and we soon got our first order of 300 Henna Tattoo Kits from Oregon, Portland."

The whole family got together to ensure that the product met the buyers specifications and was packed elegantly. When the packing was done, Maninder put the boxes in his car to deliver them at the freight forwarder's warehouse.

And thus HennaMehndi.com was born!

HennaMehndi.com is a family run business founded by the husband and wife team of Maninder Punn and Jasbir Punn.

The couple each bring their own unique talents- Jasbir is the artist, craftswoman and handles fulfillment; while Maninder handles sales, customer service and the business end of things. To the partnership, ensuring that the products you purchase are not only of the highest quality, but they also arrive when they are supposed to and the box contains the correct amount.

Maninder and Jasbir are both Engineers by education and work together closely as a team, saying they make all major decisions together. Between them they share a passion to excel. A passion to take the company to new heights.
